August 21, 2004Long Island Blue Grass FestivalHeld in Tanner Park on the Great South Bay, with a beautiful view of the water. Unfortunately, the vast openness that makes that view, also facilitates some serious wind. Two of my fellow exhibitors lost their canopies to the sea before a thunderstorm closed the whole event. I only lost some of my cards to water damage, but I shall never forget that horizontal rain pelting my side as I was packing up:
